Success 4 Hoopz was created by Coach Kev with the vision to help teach character, confidence, and life long skills through basketball. The passion we have with our Success 4 Hoopz team amplifies development within our small group settings (clinics), private lessons, camps, and soon will expand to having teams. It’s astonishing to witness pure development from our athletes. “Hard work & Faith is and will always be our motto!”
Playing since 7 years old, Kevin (CEO), played 4 years High School Varsity (All-American John Wooden Recognition), Cerritos College All-league, played Semi-professional, interned beneath NBA trainers/coaches, had offers to play in the NBA G-league and numerous colleges but decided to help teach the next generation as Coach Kev was/is an entrepreneur at heart. Coach Kev is student of the game ALWAYS. Coach Kev’s favorite coaching/student moment was being able strike a meeting with Kobe Bryant one of the greatest and learn some technique from him. “I didn’t ask for a photo or anything but instead picked his brain as I was all ears, purely listening and learning a lot!” The technique and skill usually gets losts as kids try to make the next highlight. Skills are so vital for the game as the foundation for the sport.
